God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! 하나님의 약속과 우리의 책임
하나님께서는 아브람이 99세가 되었을 때 그와 언약을
맺으셨습니다. 하나님의 약속은 아브람으로
하여금 크게 번성하게 하시고, 그로 하여금 많은 민족의 조상이 되게 하시며, 그의 이름을 "아브람"(뜻:
큰 아버지)에서 "아브라함"(열국의 아버지)로 변경하시고, 그에게 많은 나라를 이를
후손들을 주시며, 그의 후손 가운데서 많은 왕들이 나올 것이며, 하나님은
그와 그의 후손들의 하나님이 될 것이다 였습니다. 아브라함과 그의 후손의 책임은 하나님의 언약을 대대로 지키는
것입니다(창세기 17:1-9, 현대인의 성경).
