“내 증인이 되리라”
첫째로, 우리는 예수 그리스도의 증인으로서(행1:8) 예수님을 힘써 알아가야 합니다(호6:3; 빌3:8). 우리는 예수님을 아는 지식에서 자라나야 합니다. 우리의 평생 소원은 대속해 주신 주님의 사랑을 간절히 알기 원하는 것이어야 합니다.
둘째로, 우리는 예수 그리스도의 말씀을 열심히 들어야 합니다(롬10:17). 우리는 우리의 믿음을 위하여 그리스도의 말씀을 부지런히 들어야 합니다. 또한 우리는 하나님의 말씀을 주야로 묵상하므로 분별력있는 귀를 가져야 합니다.
셋째로, 우리는 예수 그리스도의 복음에 합당한 삶을 신실하게 살아가야 합니다(빌1:27). 우리에게는 그리스도인이라는 명백한 증거가 있어야 합니다. 특히 우리는 한마음 한 뜻으로 복음의 신앙을 위하여 협력해야 합니다. 그러므로 세상 사람들이 우리를 보고 우리가 그리스도인임을 부정할 수 없고 또한 더 이상 할 말이 없어야 합니다(행4:14, 16).
넷째로, 우리는 예수 그리스도의 복음을 입술로도 전해야 합니다(행16:10).
다섯째로, 우리는 주님이 우리에게 주신 사명인 예수 그리스도의 복음을 전하는 것이 우리 생명보다 더 귀하다는 가치관을 가지고 우리의 일상생활 속에서 가정에서부터 시작하여 교회 안에서 및 교회 밖에서인 직장이나 사회에서 성령님의 인도하심 따라 이웃을 사랑하면서 우리 이웃에게 선한 영향력을 끼쳐야 합니다(20:24). 그러기 위해서 우리는 성령님의 능력이 충만해야 합니다(1:8).
