주님의 날이 평안하고 안전한 세상이라고 어두움 가운데 있는 사람들이 마음 놓고 있을 때 갑자기 밤중에 도둑같이 올 것입니다.  그 때 그들에게 멸망이 닥칠 것이며 사람들은 절대로 그것을 피히지 못할 것입니다(데살로니가전서 5:2-3, 현대인의 성경).
