우리 예수님을 믿는 사람들은 좀 충격을 받아야 합니다. 우리는 하나님의 말씀을 들을 때 좀 충격을 받아야 합니다. 그러나 충격을 받데 우리는 하나님의 말씀으로 인하여 분노해서는 아니됩니다. 오히려 우리는 하나님의 말씀으로 인하여 좀 걸려 넘어져야 합니다. 걸려 넘어져서 우리는 좀 우리 자신을 뒤돌아 봐야 합니다. 우리 자신을 뒤돌아 보데 우리는 하나님의 말씀으로 인하여 우리 양심에 찔림이 있어야 합니다. 이러한 하나님의 말씀으로 인하 양심에 찔림 속에서 우리는 우리의 죄를 깨달아 알아야 합니다. 우리는 우리 죄를 직시해야 합니다. 이런 면에서 하나님의 말씀은 우리에게 걸림돌이 되는 것입니다.
