Devotional Reflection Based on the Incident of Peter Cutting Off Malchus's Ear: “Then one of those standing near drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.” ( Mark 14:47, Today's Korean Version ) 1. Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.” ( John 18:10 ) 2. 하나님 아버지께서는 우리에게 지혜와 옳은 길을 가르치십니다.






우리는 하나님 아버지의 말씀을 듣고 받아들여야 합니다.  하나님 아버지께서는 우리에게 지혜와 옳은 길을 가르치십니다.  우리가 그 지혜와 가르침을 받으면 우리가 걸어갈 때 우리의 걸음이 방해를 받지 않을 것이며 우리가 달려갈 때에도 걸려 넘어지지 않을 것입니다(참고: 잠언 4:10-12, 현대인의 성경).
