For some of us, it’s been a while. In our hard-working, highly productive culture, we can sometimes feel like exhausted swimmers swept downstream in a fast-moving river, fighting to keep our heads above water, gasping for air. We get up early and stay up late. We never waste a minute. Our schedule is full, running here, running there, running late, running to catch up, running on empty, until we collapse in utter exhaustion. Underneath the satisfaction of being hard-working, hard-playing people is a weariness that’s desperate for the pace to relent so we can rest and recharge. 천국 시민권자의 생활 우리 그리스도인들의 시민권은 하늘에 있습니다 ( 빌 3:20). 그러므로 우리는 천국 시민으로서의 책임을 다해야 합니다 (1:27). 천국 시민으로서의 책임은 천국의 법을 지켜 행해야 합니다 . 그 천국의 법은 예수님의 이중 계명입니다 : “네 마음을 다하며 힘을 다하며 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하고 또한 네 이웃을 네 자신 같이 사랑하라” ( 눅 10:27). 우리가 이 계명을 순종할 때에 우리는 천국 시민으로서의 책임을 감당하는 것입니다 . 특히 우리가 우리 가정에서 이 계명을 순종할 때에 주님께서는 우리의 가정을 천국화 이루어 나아가실 것입니다 . 그리고 우리 가정이 천국화 이뤄나아갈 때에 주님께서는 우리 가정을 주님의 증인 공동체로 사용하시사 주 예수 그리스도의 복음을 증거케 하실 것입니다 . 그리스도의 복음에 합당하게 생활하는 가정은 주 예수 그리스도의 복음을 삶으로 증거합니다 .
