Even if we are persecuted because of Jesus , because of Jesus we will receive a great reward!             “Blessed are you when people hate you, exclude you, insult you, and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man . Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their ancestors treated the prophets” ( Luke 6:22–23 ).               As I meditate on these words, I would like to receive the lessons given through this passage:   (1)    I would like to meditate on today’s passage, Luke 6:22–23, in connection with Matthew 5:11–12 : “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me .
