It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. 사탄의 유혹
구속자(Redeemer)로서 사역을 시작하시기 전에 사탄에게 시험 당히신 예수님께서는(눅4:1-13) 신명기의 말씀을 인용하시므로(신8:3; 6:13; 6:16) 그 3가지 유혹들을 뿌리치셨습니다(눅4:3, 7, 9-11). 그러자 사탄은 "얼마 동안"("until an opportune time") 떠나 있다가(13절) 사역을 끝내(완성하)시려고 십자가에 못 박히신 예수님을 또 다시 3번 '스스로 구원하라'(그 목적은 구속자로서 우리의 죄를 대신 걸머지시고 십자가에 죽지 않게 하기 위해)고 유혹하였습니다(23:35, 37, 39). 이렇게 예수님의 사역의 시작과 끝에는 사탄의 유혹이 있었습니다.
