God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 주님은 우리의 믿음을 위해 그리하십니다.
예수님께서는 사랑하시는 나사로가 병들었다는 소식을 들으시고도 그 계시던
곳에 이틀을 더 머무시다가 나사로가 죽은 후에 다시 유대로 가셨습니다. 나사로의 동생이 마리아와 마르다의 입장에서는 예수님이 속히
오셔서 오빠인 나사로가 죽지 않도록 그의 병을 치유해 주시길 간절히 원했을텐데 예수님은 그리하지 않으셨습니다. 그 이유는 예수님의 제자들로 하여금 예수님을 믿도록 하기
위해서였습니다 (요한복음 11:1-15). 주님께서는 우리의 믿음을 위해서 우리가 간절히 기도하는 대로
속히 응답을 하지 않으시고 주님의 뜻을 주님의 때에 주님의 방법으로 하십니다.
