그 도시의 평안과 번영을 추구하고 그 일을 위해서 하나님께 기도해야 합니다.  





우리는 하나님의 사랑의 징계의 도구로 쓰임받은 그 도시의 평안과 번영을 추구하고 그 일을 위해서 하나님께 기도해야 합니다.  그 이유는 그 도시가 평안하고 번영을 누릴 때 우리도 평안하고 번영을 누릴 것이기 때문입니다(참고: 예레미야 29:7, 현대인의 성경).
