A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. 혹시 하나님께서는 우리에게 이렇게 말씀하시지 않았을까요?
- ‘내가 너희의 불순물을 제거하려고 애썼으나 너희 속에 있는 녹이 벗겨지지 않고 불에서도 제거되지 않았다. 너의 음란한 행위가 너를 더럽혔다. 내가 너를 깨끗하게 하려고 하였으나 네가 깨끗해지지 않았다. 내가 너에게 분풀이를 하기 전에는 네 더러움이 깨끗해지지 않을 것이다’(참고: 에스겔
