If we do all things right and fairly ...

 

If we do all things right and fairly,

we will prosper, eat and drink freely, and enjoy life

(Ref.: Jeremiah 22:15).

  

 

If we walk in good ways ...

 

If we walk in good ways, we will find rest in our hearts

(Ref.: Jeremiah 6:16).

 

 

If we say we believe in Jesus ...

 

If we say we believe in Jesus but go out into the world

and continue to sin against God, God will break our dependence and destroy us

(Reference: Jeremiah 7:14).

If we are determined to follow the evil inclinations of our hearts ...

 

If we are determined to follow the evil inclinations of our hearts,

we will not listen to or heed any words

from the Lord's true servants (pastors) like the prophet Jeremiah.

Furthermore, we might even conspire to harm such a sincere servant of the Lord

(Ref.: Jeremiah 18:18).

 

  

If we do not repent of our sins and continue to sin against God ...

it will only harm us and bring shame upon ourselves

(Ref.: Jeremiah 7:19).
