Even though the grass dries and the flowers wither,

the word of our God endures forever!

 

 

All humans are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field.

Under the breath of the Lord, the grass withers and the flowers fade.

Truly, humans are nothing more than grass.

Even though the grass dries and the flowers wither,

the word of our God endures forever!

(Isaiah 40:6-8)
