I sincerely pray that I become a devout person who faithfully keeps the Lord’s commandments .         “When the days for their purification according to the Law of Moses were completed, they brought him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord—(as it is written in the Lord’s Law , ‘Every firstborn male shall be called holy to the Lord’)—and to offer a sacrifice according to what is said in the Lord’s Law: ‘a pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons’” ( Luke 2:22 –24).     I want to receive the lessons given while meditating on this passage:   (1)     When I meditate on this passage, the phrases “according to the Law of Moses” (Lk. 2:22), “as it is written in the Lord’s Law” (v. 23), and “according to what is said in the Lord’s Law” (v. 24) caught my eye and drew my interest.   That is probably because of the words “law” (v. 22) and “the Law” (vv. 23–24).   When I think of these three words, I may also glimps...

주님의 계명을 신실하게 지키는  경건한 사람이 되길 진심으로 기원합니다.         “ 모세의 법대로 정결예식의 날이 차매 아기를 데리고 예루살렘에 올라가니 이는 주의 율법에 쓴 바 첫 태에 처음 난 남자마다 주의 거룩한 자라 하리라 한 대로 아기를 주께 드리고 또 주의 율법에 말씀하신 대로 산비둘기 한 쌍이나 혹은 어린 집비둘기 둘로 제사하려 함이더라 ”( 누가복음 2:22-24) 하는 말씀을 묵상하면서 주시는 교훈을 받고자 합니다 :     (1)    저는 이 말씀을 묵상할 때 “ 모세의 법대로 ”( 눅 2:22) 란 말씀과 “ 주의 율법에 쓴 바 ”(23 절 ) 란 말씀과 “ 또 주의 율법에 말씀하신 대로 ”(24 절 ) 라는 말씀이 눈에 들어와 관심을 갖게 되었습니다 .   아마도 그 이유는 “ 법 ”(22 절 ), “ 율법 ”(23, 24 절 ) 이란 단어들 때문인 것 같습니다 .   그리고 저는 이 세 단어들을 생각할 때 어제 월요일 아침에 묵상했던 누가복음 2 장 21 절의 “ 할례할 팔 일이 되매 ” 라는 말씀과 연관성을 좀 엿보게 됩니다 .     (a)    그 연관성이란 아기 예수님이 태어 ” 난 지 8 일만인 할례식 날 ”(21 절 , 현대인의 성경 ) 이란 말씀은 “ 모세의 법대로 아기 ( 예수님 ) 에게 정결 의식을 행하는 날 ”(22 절 , 현대인의 성경 ) 이라는 것입니다 .     (i)              ...
