If a human being tries to seat himself in the “place of honor,” he will ultimately be put to shame; but if he seats himself in the “lowest place” (the place of Jesus Christ), God will exalt him.

서로 돕고 세워주는 공동체

“만일 한 지체가 고통을 받으면 모든 지체가 함께 고통을 받고 한 지체가 영광을 얻으면 모든 지체가 함께 즐거워하느니라.”  “그리스도 안에서 한 몸을 이룬 교회 공동체 안에서는 모든 지체들이 서로 유기적으로 연결되어 있기에, 한 지체의 영광과 기쁨은 모든 지체의 기쁨이 되며, 한 지체의 고통은 모든 지체의 고통이 된다는 것을 의미합니다.  이는 공동체 안의 연약한 지체도 존귀히 여겨지고, 서로 돕고 세워주며, 한 몸된 교회의 하나됨을 이루어야 한다는 가르침입니다”(인터넷).
