They were righteous before God and faithfully kept all the Lord’s commandments and regulations without fault”)] (Luke 1:5–6).   While meditating on this passage, I would like to draw out the lessons given to us:   (1)    The author of Luke’s Gospel, Luke, first wrote to Theophilus about John the Baptist’s parents.  "내 마음 속에 걱정이 태산 같았을 때"(시편 94:19, 현대인의 성경) 주님은 나를 버리지 아니하시며, 외면하지 않으셨습니다(14절). 오히려 주님은 내게 도움이 되셨습니다(17절).  '하나님, 제가 미그러집니다'라고 외칠 때에 주님의 사랑이 나를 붙들어 주셨습니다(18절).  결국 주님께서는 주님의 위로로 내 영혼을 즐겁게 하셨습니다(19절).
