If a human being tries to seat himself in the “place of honor,” he will ultimately be put to shame; but if he seats himself in the “lowest place” (the place of Jesus Christ), God will exalt him.

죽음에 대해서 많이 생각해야 합니다.





지혜로운 사람은 죽음에 대해서 많이 생각합니다.  그는 죽는 날이 출생하는 날보다 낫고 장례식에 가는 것이 결혼식에 가는 것보다 낫다는 것을 알고 있습니다.  또한 그는 슬픔이 웃음보다 나은 것은 슬픔으로 인해서 새로운 것을 깨달을 있기 때문임을 알고 있습니다.  지혜로운 사람은 모든 사람이 죽을 수밖에 없다는 사실을 살아있을 명심하는 것이 좋은 것을 알고 있습니다.  이러한 지혜로운 사람의 책망을 듣는 것이 자기 앞에 보이는 즐거움밖에 생각하지 못하는 어리석은 사람의 칭찬을 듣는 것보다 낫습니다(참고: 전도서 7:1-5, 현대인의 성경).
