A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. 우리는 우리의 창조주 하나님을 기억해야 합니다.
특히 우리는 아직 젊을 때, 곧 고난의 날이 오기 전에, 아무 낙이 없다고 말할 때가 되기 전에 창조주 하나님을 기억해야 합니다.
우리가 너무 늙어 강한 우리의 다리도 약해지고, 이빨이 거의 다 빠져 음식을 잘 씹지도 못하고, 눈이 어두워서 보지 못하고, 귀는 어두워서 소리를 듣지 못하고, 깊은 잠을 자지 못하고, 음성도 떨리고, 머리는 온통 희어지고, 거동하기가 불편해서 몸을 제대로 끌고 다닐 수 없고, 모든 의욕과 정욕도 사라지고, 그렇게 되면 결국 조객들이 우리 집을 찾아들 날도 멀지 않을 것입니다.
그 때 창조주 하나님을 기억하려고 하면 늦을 것입니다.
육은 본래의 흙으로 돌아가고 영은 그것을 주신 하나님께로 돌아가기 전에 우리는 우리의 창조주 하나님을 기억해야 합니다(참고: 전도서 12:1-7, 현대인의 성경).
지혜로운 사람은 자기가 아는 것을 사람들에게 계속 가르치며 그는 또 깊이 생각하고 연구하는 중에 많은 거짓이 없고 진실한 금언을 모아 정리합니다.
그 금언은 양떼를 모는 채찍 같고 또한 잘 박힌 못과 같습니다.
그것은 다 우리의 목자 되시는 하나님이 주신 것입니다(참고: 전도서 12:9-11, 현대인의 성경).
사람의 본분은 하나님을 두려운 마음으로 섬기고 하나님의 명령에 순종하는 것입니다(전도서 12:13, 현대인의 성경).
