A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. 고용주에게 순종해야 합니까? 3가지로 묵상하고자 합니다: (1) 고용인은
고용주가 지켜보고 있을 때만 열심히 또는 부지런히 일하면 안 됩니다. (골3:22상) “종들아 모든 일에 육신의
상전들에게 순종하되 사람을 기쁘게 하는 자와 같이 눈가림만 하지 말고 ….” 여기서 “눈가림”(eyeservice)
“주인 눈앞에서만 일함”입니다.
고용인은 그의 주인인 고용주 눈앞에서만 일하는 이유는 고용주에게 열심히 일하고 있다는 것을 의도적으로
보이므로 주인을 기쁘게 하고 또한 그에게 칭찬을 받기 위해서입니다. 그러다가 고용주가 더 이상 자기를 보지 않거나 볼 수가 없을 때에는 열심히 일하지 않습니다. 직장에서 직장인이 자기 상관을 기쁘게 하려고 할 때 그
상관의 비위를 맞추면서 아부하고 아첨하려고 할 수 있을 것입니다.
그러다보면 그 직장인은 상관을 향한 자신의 솔직한 (미운) 감정도 숨길(감출) 수밖에 없을 것입니다(참고:
잠26:24). 그러면 교만한 상관은 그 직장인의 아첨에 넘어가기가 쉽습니다. 그리고 그 직장인은 자기 상관이 없는 곳에서 친한 동료 직장인(들)에게 상관에 대한 자신의 미운 감정이든 불만이든 불평하며 원망의 소리를 낼 위험이 많을 것입니다.
