A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. 만일 교인들이 불순종하는 목사도 사랑하여 은혜를 베풀므로 목사를 살려보려고 최선을 다할지라도 주님의 뜻이 목사가 바다에 던져지는 이라면 점점 사나운 파도가 교회에 밀어닥치 하셔서라도 교인들로 하여금 목사를 들어 바다에 지게 하실 것입니다.  그래야 교회가 있을 것입니다(참고: 요나 1:13-15, 현대인의 성경).
