We are taught that we must become upright people who, in God’s sight, are blameless and fully keep His commandments. “In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commands and decrees blamelessly” [(Modern Translation: “When Herod was king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah of the division of Abijah, and his wife Elizabeth also came from the family of Aaron. They were righteous before God and faithfully kept all the Lord’s commandments and regulations without fault”)] (Luke 1:5–6). While meditating on this passage, I would like to draw out the lessons given to us: (1) The author of Luke’s Gospel, Luke, first wrote to Theophilus about John the Baptist’s parents. 하나님의 은혜를 싸구려로 만들고 있는 것 뿐이다! 우리가 원하는 것들과 성경에서 말씀하는 것과 충돌을 일으켰을 때 주로 우리는 우리가 말하고 믿는데로 살지 않는다 . ------ 지금 이 시기에 이 과거의 글이 페북에 뜬 것 , 우연이 아니다 . 하나님의 주권적인 선하시고 온전하시고 기쁘신 뜻 가운데서 지금 나는 이 새벽에 이 글을 접한 것이다 . 그렇다면 주님께서 이 글을 통해서 나에게 주시고자 하시는 교훈이 무엇일까 ? 1. 하나님의 말씀은 내 안에 분수에 넘치는 욕심과 충돌할 수 밖에 없다 . 2. 그 순간 내 양심은 내 욕심대로 행하지 말라고 하지만 이미 나는 내 욕심 따라 행하기로 마음에 결심을 하고 그리 행한다 . 3. 결국 나는 내가 믿고 말 ( 설교 ) 한데로 살지 못한 것이다 . 나의 위선이 들어난 것이다 . 4. 그런데 나는 또 다시 성도님들 앞에 서서 ' 나는 하나님의 은혜로 ...' 라고 내 설교를 하고 있다 . 5. 내 입술에는 ' 하나님의 은혜 ' 그러나 내 마음 깊은 곳에는 ' 내 공로 ' 의식으로 가득차 있다 . 6. 지금 나는 하나님의 귀한 은혜를 싸구려 은혜로 만들고 있는 것이다 . 7. 지금 나는 하나님의 영광이 결코 아닌 사람인 나의 영광을 드러내고 있는 것 뿐이다 !
