A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. 비교 의식 속에서 특별 대우를 기대하는 사람이 불만을 가지고 교회를 불평합니다. 포도원 주인이 약속한 하루 삯은 한 데나리온인데 아침 일찍부터 일한 일꾼들은 자신들보다 늦게 와서 일한 일꾼들보다 품삯을 더 많이 받을 줄로 생각했습니다 . 그런데 포도원 주인이 자기들에게도 다른 사람들과 똑같이 한 데나리온밖에 받지 못하니까 주인에게 불만을 털어놓았습니다 : " 나중에 온 사람들은 한 시간밖에 일하지 않았는데 종일 더위에 시달리며 수고한 우리와 똑같이 대우해 줍니까 ?" 먼저 온 사람들의 불만을 들어보면 그들의 불만의 원인은 나중에 와서 일한 사람들보다 특별한 대우를 받기를 원했고 또한 주인이 자신들을 특별하게 대우해 줄줄 생각 ( 기대 ) 한 것입니다 . 분명히 주인은 먼저와서 일했던 나중에 와서 1 시간밖에 일하지 않았든 모든 일꾼들에게 약속한 것은 똑같이 한 데나리온씩 주는 것이었는데도 불구하고 먼저 온 일꾼들은 나중에 온 일꾼들과 비교의식 속에서 그들보다 좀 더 많이 받을 줄로 생각했습니다 ( 마태복음 20:1-16, 현대인의 성경 ). 주님의 몸된 교회 안에서 주님을 향하여 우리가 불만을 가지는 이유는 ' 나는 주일 아침부터 교회에 와서 열심히 봉사하고 있는데 왜 특별하게 대우를 해주지 않고 오히려 나를 무시한다 ' 는 생각 때문입니다 . 먼저 교회에 와서 먼저 이런 저런 일들을 열심히 했는데 왜 나중에 와서 교회 봉사를 한 사람들하고 똑같이 대우를 하느냐는 불만입니다 ....
