우리가 세상에 아무것도 가지고 오지 않았으므로 아무것도 가지고 가지 못한다는 사실을 알고 먹을 것과 입을 것이 있으면 그것으로 만족해 하는 자족하는 마음으로 경건하게 살면 우리의 신앙에 큰 유익이 될 것입니다(디모데전서 6:6-8, 현대인의 성경).
