God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! 고기와 빵을 배불리 먹을 수 있었던 사람들이 모조리 굶어 죽을 수 있다는 생각이 들정도로 궁핍함을 경험할 때에는 충분히 원망의 소리를 낼 수있을 것입니다. 그렇지만 원망의 내용이 '우리가 이집트에서 하나님의 손에 죽었더라면 좋을 뻔했습니다'라고 원망의 대상인 주님의 종인 모세와 아론에게 그리한 것은 매우 심각한 범죄가 아닌가 생각합니다. 그 이유는 주님의 도구로 쓰임받아 이스라엘 백성을 이집트에서 인도해 낸 주님이 세우시고 보낸 종을 원망한 것은 곧 주님을 원망한 것이요 또한 하나님은 생명이신데 그 생명의 하나님의 손에 죽었더라면 좋을 뻔했다고 말했기 때문입니다(출애굽기 16:2-4, 8, 현대인의 성경; 요한복음 14:6).
