A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. 저는 가정 안에서 그리스도의 복음을 믿는 자 답게 살고 싶습니다. 그리고 저는 저의 가정이 그리스도의 복음에 합당하게 생활하는 공동체로 더욱더 세움 받길 기원합니다. 저와 제 아내가 먼저 부부 관계에 있어서 그리스도의 복음을 믿는 부부 답게 그리스도 예수님의 마음을 본받아가므로 한 마음이 점진적으로 되고, 제 뜻이나 제 아내의 뜻이 아니라 오직 하나님의 한 뜻에 서서 부부가 함께 복음의 신앙을 위하여 협력하길 기원합니다(빌1:27). 비록 사탄이 저희 부부 관계를 수시로 공격하고 있지만 이 영적 전쟁을 두려워하지 않고 믿음으로 담대하게 싸워 날마다 승리하는 부부 생활을 하고 싶습니다(28절). 그리고 부부가 함께 가정사역이나 교회 사역이나 인터넷 사역이나 마라톤 사역 등등을 하면서 그리스도를 위하여 작은 고난이 있다할지라도 그 고난을 하나님의 은혜로 여기면서 섬기고 싶습니다(29절). 그리할 때 주님께서 저희 부부를 예수 그리스도의 복음 중심된 부부로 견고히 세워주시사 세 자녀들인 딜런, 예리, 예은이에게 복음을 빛을 비추길 기원합니다. 그래서 그들도 그리스도의 복음에 합당하게 생활하길 기원합니다.
