교회 안에 양심이 마비된 거짓말하는 위선자들은 우울증이 걸린 형제에게 우울증 약도 먹지 말고 믿음으로 기도만 하면 된다고 말합니다.  그들의 거짓된 말은 믿음이 있어보일지라도 실제로는 하나님이 베풀어주시는 일반 은총도 부인하는 것입니다(참고: 디모데전서 4:1-3, 현대인의 성경).
