A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. “용서”(골3:13)란 단어의 원어 헬라어는 ‘은혜’라는 단어와 동일한 어원에서 파생되었으며, 무조건적으로
은혜를 베풀다는 뜻입니다. 그러므로 하나님의 은혜를 받고 그 은혜를 깨닫아 아는 자만이
상대방에게 은혜를 베풀어 용서할 수 있습니다. 우리가 받은 하나님의 은혜는 하나님의 아들의 피 흘린 대가로
자유를 얻고 죄를 용서받은 것입니다(1:14). 그러므로 우리는 이 하나님의 은혜와 사랑을 무조건적으로
받은 자들로서 서로 용납하고 피차 용서해야 합니다. 우리는 새 사람으로서 용서를 해야 할 뿐만 아니라 우리가
입어야 할 새 사람은 바로 “사랑”입니다(3:14). 이미 골로새 교회의 성도들은 하나님께서 어두움의 권세에게
구출하여 사랑하는 하나님의 아들의 나라로 옮겨주셨습니다. 그러므로 예수 그리스도의 나라 안에 있는 성도들은 하나님의
사랑 안에서 연합해야 합니다(2:2). 넷째로, 우리가 입어야 할 새 사람은 그리스도의 평강과 감사입니다(15절).

하는 그리스도인들은 하나님 올바른 관계를 가지고 있습니다. 그들은 하나님과 화목하고 화평이신 예수 그리스도와 친밀한
교제를 추구하며 그리스도의 평강이 그들의 마음을 주장합니다. 그들은 아무것도 염려하지 않고 모든 일에 기도와 간구로 자기의 구할 것을 감사하므로
하나님께 아뢰므로 하나님의 평강이 그리스도 예수님 안에서 그의 마음과 생각을 지키고 있습니다(빌4:6-7).
