Love is not self-seeking.

 

 

Love is not self-seeking (1 Corinthians 13:5).

The one who loves does not seek their own benefit,

but rather the benefit of others and the benefit of many (1 Corinthians 10:24, 33).

Making an effort to do good deeds that benefit people

is considered beautiful in the sight of God (Titus 3:8).
