God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 우리가 새
사람으로서 입어야 할 것은 바로 “감사”입니다: “… 너희는 또한 감사하는 자가 되라,” “… 감사 하는 마음으로 하나님을 찬양하고,” “… 그를 힘입어 하나님 아버지께 감사하라”(골3:15, 16, 17).
바울은 감사하는 자였습니다: “우리가 너희를 위하여 기도할 때마다 하나님 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도의
아버지께 감사하노라”(참고: 1:3). 그리고 그는 골로새 교회의 성도들에게 “빛의 나라에서 성도들이 얻을 축복에 참 여할 수 있는 자격을 우리에게 주신 아버지께 감사하기를
바랍니다”(12절,
현대인의 성경), “… 믿음에 굳 게 서서 감사가 넘치는 생활을 하십시오”(2:7, 현대인 의 성경)라고 말했습니다. 제가 개인적으로 특별히 하나님께 감사드리는 3가지 이유가 있습니다: (1) 교회의 머리가 되시는 주님께서 약속하신 마태복음 16장 18절대로 주님의 몸 된 승리장로교회를 세워나아가 시는 줄 믿고 하나님께 감사드립니다, (2) 가정의 주인이신 주님께서 육신의
가정도 모든 것을 합력하여 선을 이루어 나아가시는 줄 믿고 감사드립니다, (3) 주님께서 저에게 주신
오병이어의 약속인 요한복음 6장 1-15절 말씀을 성취해
