Although we should do our best to get along with everyone,

We must not associate with those who claim to believe

yet engage in immoral behavior, greed, idolatry, cursing, drunkenness, or deceit.

We must avoid associating with those who persistently commit sins without repentance

and have a negative influence on the entire church

(Romans 12:18; 1 Corinthians 5:11-12).
