My "Jerusalem"

 

 

Jesus' apostles, who did not leave Jerusalem as Jesus said

and waited for the Holy Spirit, the gift promised by God the Father,

received the baptism and power of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost

and became witnesses of Jesus from Jerusalem.

(Acts 1:4-5, 8; Chapter 2).

Where is our “Jerusalem,”

where we waited for the Holy Spirit

without departing as the Lord said?
My “Jerusalem” is the Victory Presbyterian Church

where I currently serve, and also my family.

Therefore, I am once again taught that I must follow the words of the Lord

and become a witness of Jesus in my family and in the church I serve.
