2002년 한국에서 살면서 사역을 하고 있었을 때 화상을 입어 성삼병원에 온 몸에 붕대를 감고 있었던 이종미 자매, 그 자매를 통해 저는 이 찬양을 접하게 되었습니다. 실제로 저 또한 1987년 대학교 1학년 때 교회 대학부 수련회를 통해 은혜를 받고 주님이 주신 약속의 말씀인 요한복음 6장 1-15절에 이끌림을 받아 오늘까지 오면서 수 없이 제 자신 때문에 낙심/낙망했지만 그 때마다 주님은 이 약속의 말씀으로 저를 오뚝이 처럼 다시 일으켜 주셨습니다. 오늘 이 밤에 이 찬양이 다시 생각났습니다. 주님께서 18년 때 화상으로 고생하는 종미 자매를 다시금 일으켜 주시길 멀리서나마 기원합니다.
