Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. 우리는 한 성령님으로 세례를 받아 한 몸이 되었고 한 성령님을 모시고 있습니다.  그러므로 우리는 평안의 매는 줄로 성령님이 하나 되게 하신 것을 힘써 지켜야 합니다(고린도전서 12:13, 현대인의 성경; 에베소서 4:3).
