사랑은 교만하지 않습니다.




사랑은 교만하지 않습니다(고린도전서 13:4).  교만에서는 다툼만 일어날 뿐입니다(잠언 13:10).  사람이 교만하면 수치를 당합니다(11:2, 현대인의 성경).  하나님은 교만을 미워하시며(8:13; 로마서 1:30) 교만한 자를 용납하지 않으시며(시편 101:5) 또한 교만하게 행하는 자에게 엄중히 갚으십니다(31:23).  하나님은 교만하게 행하는 자를 낮추십니다(다니엘 4:37).  사람의 마음의 교만은 멸망의 선봉입니다(잠언 18:12).  그러므로 우리는 교만한 마음을 가지지 말아야 합니다(고린도전서 4:6).
