A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. 하나님께서 멸망당할 위기에 처해있던 유다 사람들을 그들의 원수들의 손에서 건져주셨을 때 유다 사람들에게는 영광과 즐거움과 기쁨과 존귀함이 있었습니다(에스더 8:16).   우리에게도 그 영광과 즐거움과 기쁨과 존귀함이 있었고 지금도 있으면 앞으로도 있다가 예수님이 이 세상에 다시 오시는 날 충만할 것입니다.
