우리의 속이는 것도 사용하시사 약속을 성취하시는 하나님 한 여인 라헬을 아내로 삼고자 7 년 동안 일했던 야곱은 결국 가서는 라헬의 언니인 레아와 라헬을 아내로 삼을 뿐만 아니라 그 두 여인의 두 시녀인 실바와 빌하를 첩으로 두게 되어서 그 4 명의 여인들을 통하여 자녀들을 낳습니다 ( 창세기 29:20-29, 30 장 , 현대인의 성경 ). 이것 또한 아버지 이삭의 축복인 " 전능하신 하나님이 너를 축복하여 네 자손을 번성하게 하고 "(3 절 , 현대인의 성경 ) 라는 말씀대로 하나님께서 야곱에게 " 네 후손이 땅의 티끌처럼 많 " 게하시겠다는 약속 (28:14, 현대인의 성경 ) 을 성취하시는 방법이었습니다 . 하나님께서는 외삼촌 라반이 조카 야곱을 속이는 것도 사용하셔서 결국에 가서는 아버지 이삭의 축복 기원대로 야곱의 자손을 번성케 하셨습니다 . 신실하신 하나님은 약속의 말씀을 성취해 나아가심에 있어서 우리 인간의 불성실함도 사용하시는 하나님이십니다 .
