하나님 보시기에 진정한 회개는 내가 성경책의 말씀대로 순종하지 않고 이 성경책에 우리를 위하여 기록된 모든 것을 행하지 않으므로 우리가 하나님을 얼마나 분노케했는지를 조금이나마 깨닫게 되므로 나 자신을 하나님 앞에서 스스로 낮추어서 마음을 찢고 하나님께 통곡하는 것입니다. 이 회개의 은혜를 사모합니다(참고: 열왕기하 22:13-19, 현대인의 성경; 요엘 2:13).
교회의 재정을 사용함에 있어서 하나님 보시기에 정직하게 사용하므로 그 재정 사용 비용을 회계할 필요조차 없어야 합니다(참고: 열왕기하 22:7, 현대인의 성경).
우리는 오직 한결같은 마음으로 하나님을 섬기며 하나님 보시기에 옳은 일을 행해야 합니다(참고: 열왕기하 22:2, 현대인의 성경).
하나님의 공의로운 사랑의 징계는 마치 그릇을 깨끗이 씻어 엎듯이 우리 마음 속의 모든 악하고 더러운 것을 쓸어 없애 버릴 것입니다(참고: 열왕기하 21:13, 현대인의 성경; 마가복음 7:20-24; 히브리서 12:6).
우리가 하나님께 우리에게 하신 약속의 말씀을 성취하실 것이라는 확실한 표적을 구할 때 우리가 생각하기에 더 어렵고 심지어 불가능해 보이는 표적을 구할 필요가 있습니다(참고: 열왕기하 20:9-10, 현대인의 성경).
