네가 항상 섬기는 하나님이 너를 사자 굴에서 구할 수 있었느냐?”(19-20절, 현대인의 성경) 저는 이 말씀을 묵상할 때 우리는 사자 굴과 같은 위기에 처한 우리 자녀들을 생각할 때 충분히 걱정스럽고 염려할 수밖에 없다고 생각합니다. 그렇지만 우리는 우리가 항상 섬기는 우리 하나님께서 위기해 처한 사랑하는 우리 자녀들을 건져주실 줄 믿고 믿음으로 우리 자녀들을 위하여 살아 계신 하나님께 간구하길 원합니다.
