We are taught that we must become upright people who, in God’s sight, are blameless and fully keep His commandments. “In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commands and decrees blamelessly” [(Modern Translation: “When Herod was king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah of the division of Abijah, and his wife Elizabeth also came from the family of Aaron. They were righteous before God and faithfully kept all the Lord’s commandments and regulations without fault”)] (Luke 1:5–6). [ 사도행전 14 장 19-28 절 말씀 묵상 ] “ 사명”이란 무슨 말입니까 ? 사명 ( 使命 ) 이란 말은 (1) 맡겨진 임무 (2) 사신 ( 使臣 ) 이 받은 명령이란 뜻입니다 . 그러면 과연 저와 여러분둘의 공통된 사명은 무엇입니까 ? 과역 우리는 사명을 자각하고 있습니까 ? 미국 소매상 협회의 조사 통계가 있습니다 . 판매원의 48% 가 한 번 전화하고 포기하고 , 25% 는 두 번 전화해보고 포기하고 , 15% 는 세 번 전화해보고 포기한다고 합니다 . 즉 88% 의 세일즈맨이 한 통 내지 세 통의 전화를 해보고 판매를 포기한다는 결론입니다 . 그런데 나머지 12% 는 끈질기게 전화를 해서 결국 판매를 하게 되는데 놀라운 것은 그 12% 가 전체 판매량의 80% 를 차지한다는 것입니다 . 오늘 우리 그리스도인의 전도도 마찬가지라고 생각합니다 . 항상 소수의 몇 사람이 전체 교회의 전도 실적의 대부분을 차지하고 있습니다 . 천하보다 귀한 한 생명을 구원하기 위하여 우리는 어떻게 해야 합니까 ? 복음 전도의 사명을 자각하고 반드시 복음을 전해야 한다는 결단을 가져야 전도 할 수 있습니다 ( 인터넷 ). 오늘 본문 사도행전 14 장 19-28 절을 보면 하나님께서 주신 사명을 완수해 나아가는 사도 바울과 바나바의 모습을 우리는 봅니다 . 오늘 이 말씀 중심으로 사도 바울과 바나바가 완수한 하나님의 일이 무엇인지 한 4 가지로 묵상하면서 하나님께서 우리 교회에게...
