3년 동안 예수님을 따라 다니면서 예수님의 말씀을 듣고 또한 예수님께서 행하신 모든 기적들을 목격한 열 두 제자 중 하나인 가룟 유다도 사탄이 들어갔을 때 대제사장들과 성전 경비병들에게 돈을 받아 그들의 뜻에 따르기로 하고 사람들이 없을 때 예수님을 넘겨 줄 기회를 찾기 시작했다면, 하물며 우리에게도 사탄이 들어와서 시험에 들어 주님의 뜻을 따르지 않고 주님을 대적하는 자들의 뜻을 따르기로 하고 주님과 주님의 복음과 주님의 교회를 충분히 대적할 수 있지 않을까요? (누가복음 22:3-6, 현대인의 성경)
