Devotional Reflection Based on the Incident of Peter Cutting Off Malchus's Ear: “Then one of those standing near drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.” ( Mark 14:47, Today's Korean Version ) 1. Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.” ( John 18:10 ) 2. 과연 고부갈등을 겪고 있는 아내를 사랑함에 있어서 그 역경과 고통을 통해서라도 하나님의 말씀으로 그녀늘 지혜롭게 잘 양육하여 그 고부갈등의 위기를 통해 사랑하는 아내를 거룩하고 흠이 없는 영광스러운 아내로 세우고자 하는 믿음의 남편이 몇명이나 될까요?  (참고: 에베소서 5:25-27)
