If a human being tries to seat himself in the “place of honor,” he will ultimately be put to shame; but if he seats himself in the “lowest place” (the place of Jesus Christ), God will exalt him.

참고 견디는 인내의 한계를 절실히 느낄 때 



영혼의 번민과 종일토록 마음의 근심을 참고 견디는 인내의 한계를 절실히 느낄 때(시편 13:1-2) 나는 흔들릴 수 밖에 없습니다(4절).  그 때 내 마음에 몰려오는 두려움은 내가 죽는 것(3절)과 내 원수(마귀?)가 나를 이겼다고 말하며 기뻐할까봐 두렵습니다(4절).  "여호와 내 하나님이여 나를 생각하사 응답하시고 나의 눈을 밝히소서"(3절).
