A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. In order to save fallen humanity, God first comes to us, sends His Son, and sends the Holy Spirit. He is the “missionary God” who sends. 우리의 하나님 여호와는 가장 높은 신이시며 모든 것을 다스리는 주님이시요 위대하고 능력 있는 두려운 하나님이시며 사람의 겉모양을 보지 않으시고 뇌물을 받지 않으시는 분이십니다.  그분은 또 고아와 과부들이 정당한 대우를 받게 하시고 나그네를 사랑하셔서 그들에게 먹을 것과 입을 것을 주십니다.  그러므로 우리는 나그네를 사랑해야 합니다(참고: 신명기 10:17-19, 현대인의 성경).
