For some of us, it’s been a while. In our hard-working, highly productive culture, we can sometimes feel like exhausted swimmers swept downstream in a fast-moving river, fighting to keep our heads above water, gasping for air. We get up early and stay up late. We never waste a minute. Our schedule is full, running here, running there, running late, running to catch up, running on empty, until we collapse in utter exhaustion. Underneath the satisfaction of being hard-working, hard-playing people is a weariness that’s desperate for the pace to relent so we can rest and recharge. 도무지 이해가 안 되는 하나님의 명령 하나님의 명령은 우리의 지성으로는 도무지 이해가 안 될수도 있습니다 . 비도 이슬도 없는데 어떻게 하나님께서는 엘리야에게 그릿 시냇가로 가서 " 그 시냇물을 마시라 " 는 명령하실 수 있습니까 . 분명히 " 얼마 후에 그 시내가 마 " 를 건인데 말입니다 ( 열왕기상 17 장 1-7 절 ). 그래서 하나님의 명령은 우리 머리로 이해한 후 순종하기 보다 하나님을 사랑하는 마음으로 순종하는 것 같습니다 .
