지금 우리가 당하고 있는 시험이 믿음의 시련이요, 믿음의 시련이 인내를 만들어내고 우리가 끝까지 참고 견디면 부족함이 없고 온전하고 성숙한 사람이 된다는 것을 알면 우리는 그 시험을 기쁨으로 여길 수 있을 것입니다(야고보서 1:2-4, 현대인의 성경).
