행함이 없이 말로만 사랑하는 것은 죽은 사랑입니다.  




행함이 없는 믿음이 죽은 믿음인 것처럼 행함이 없이 말로만 사랑하는 것은 죽은 사랑입니다.  만일 우리가 말로만 사랑하고 있다면 우리는 책망할 일이 있는 것이요 또한 하나님 앞에서 마음을 편안하게 가질 수 없을 것입니다(야고보서 2:17, 26; 요한일서 3:17-20, 현대인의 성경).
