Herod wants to kill You.’   He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.”   In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem!   Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.   Look, your house is left to you desolate.   I tell you, you will not see Me again until you say, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord” (Luke 13:31–35).     ...

질투는 어리석은 자를 죽이는 법입니다. 





한 나라의 왕인 사울은 자기 나라를 침략하는 적군인 블레셋 사람들과 싸워야 함에도 불구하고 자기 나라의 충성된 사람이요 아군인 다윗 한 사람을 끈질기게 추격하여 죽이려고 한 것을 보면(사무엘상23장) 그는 어리석은 왕이었다고 생각합니다: “어리석은 통치자는 자기 백성을 탄압하여도 청렴한 통치자는 정치 생명이 길 것이다”(잠언 28:16, 현대인의 성경), “분노는 미련한 자를 죽이고 질투는 어리석은 자를 죽이는 법이다”(욥기5:2, 현대인의 성경).
