우리 몰래 뒤에서 불순한 의도로 음모를 꾸미고 있는 사람이 자기의 세력을 점점 더 커지게 하여 그를 따르는 자들이 점진적으로 계속 불어날 때 우리는 하나님께 그 사람의 음모로부터 우리를 지켜 주시고 그의 음모가 성공하지 못하도록 간구해야 합니다(참고: 사무엘하 15:10-12; 시편 21:11; 64:2, 현대인의 성경).
