다윗과 골리앗과의 만남은 마치 갑과 을의 만남이라 생각합니다. 사람의 눈으로 보면 어릴 때부터 군 생활을 해온 거인 골리앗 장군은 "갑"이요 소년에 불과한 다윗은 "을"이라 말할 수 있을 것입니다. 갑이었던 골리앗은 을이었던 다윗을 업신여겼고 비웃었으며 저주까지 했습니다. 마침내 이 둘은 대결을 했습니다. 결과는 하나님께서 함께하시는 다윗이 하나님을 모욕한 블레셋 장군 골리앗을 이깁니다. 그것도 창아니 칼도 없이 말입니다. 어떻게 다윗은 골리앗을 이길 수 있었을까요? 이 사무엘상 17장의 이야기를 통해서 우리가 배울 수 있는 교훈, 우리 삶 속에서 적용할 수 있는 성경적인 원리는 무엇일까요?
