신성을 모독한 죄?
예수님께서 한 중풍병자의 죄를 사하신 것은 어떤 서기관들의 관점으로 볼 때에 신성을 모독한 죄입니다. 그 이유는 그들의 입장에서 볼 때에 오직 한 분이신 하나님만이 죄를 사하시는 권능이 있으신 데 예수란 사람도 세상에서 죄를 사하는 권능이 있다는 것을 그 중풍병자를 통해 알게 하셨기 때문입니다(마태복음 9:2-3,
6). 그러나 실제로는 그 서기관들이 신성을 모독하는 죄를 범했다고 생각합니다. 그 이유는 그들은 예수님과 하나님 아버지는 하나이심을 믿지 못했기 때문입니다(참고: 요한복음
10:30).
